Omg the best horror movie I've ever seen 😍❤❤❤❤ can't find the words to describe how amazing it was 👌👌👌. Maybe the twins aren't Charles Grady's daughters, we are told earlier in the film that the daughters were different ages but the girls seem to be twins, maybe they are the original murderous caretakers daughters or some other earlier murder, the girls dresses could easily be from a more historical period than merely the previous caretaker.
Its a shame this movie was so good but its flying under peoples radar. I read the book too. Very cool Abbys dad Death was only on the directors cut I think. The Shining: Shinier. More darknes in this trailer than the hole movie the shining, but looking forward for this one. Read both books. Loved both books. Loved the movie (even though it was different from the book, Kubrick did a good job. If any of you watched the Haunting of Hill House, creator of that show Mike Flanagan is directing this movie. Great pick. This movie is supposed to follow in the same cinematic universe as the movie version of The Shining, but this still looks great. Very excited.
Just watched this movie for the first time last night. I applaud the crew for such a great job at recreating those scenes from The Shining. I felt like I was watching a fan-made film at times. Loved it. The cinematography and color gradint look super generic, everything is blue and orange. Sorry, typo. I hope they're as faithful to the book as the film medium allows.
Ghosts: Come play with us Danny. Danny: Hello There. I may not have actually seen the Shining but those twins were super creepy no matter how much I watch that scene or in parodies. Watching this because Im putting off homework. its ok. Ewan McGregor: Does something thats not Star Wars related Everyone: HOW MANY TIMES DO WE HAVE TO TEACH YOU THIS LESSON, OLD MAN. Personally, I am so glad that had acknowledged that author Stephen King is definitely NOT a fan of the Stanley Kubrick film version of The Shining. But I am sure that NOT ALL people were fans of the film as well. I know that the moments in the 1980 film were scary, but they were not what Mr. King had envisioned in his novel. I also find it so sad that Kubrick NEVER apologized for having made the movie as a way of turning his back on Mr. King and presented an alternative horror film that suited only Kubrick.
Ok. I gotta see this now. That scene was powerful. Is there going to be a naked great great grandma in it? I see the bathtub. I corrected her 🤪. The movie is better than the book. Thank heavens. 40 years and finally figured it out. The whole movie was great but this scene was my favorite. Rose flying over the earth and the way Abra totally dominated Rose was very satisfying. This reminds me of the movie strangers prey at night. Scary yet entertaining. They're not 'special. They're STARVING! One of the best scenes.
Doktor see the full. That was so cool the shining reference. 3.6K people need to be “corrected”. This movie is gonna grow into a classic with time it's Greater than the shining it's way way deeper. This is why nobody gets it, but over time they will understand. Every character is Good and every character is Evil, They have all faced trauma, and they all had a wonderful loving nature at one point before the demise. Even Abra is dead, you see she's from the 1700's, she's still stuck as well in the hotel. And must be one of the most Evil of All hotel guest, as she is connected to the old woman who's an incredible evil force. Danny at the end isn't freed as when he attempts to die as he really had, he can't sits down, and again becomes a child with his Mother, who is also still stuck. I would like to think of it as them destroying these wicked ones. Why does the Revelation come to the Hat that she remembers now, she has known Danny a long long time, with a great attachment? That's why Abra can still see Danny he should be gone, and Abra also still must stay in the hotel. As she hasn't been revealed for her attrocity. But it will be deciphered and turn to a classic, it's amazing nobody gets it.
I saw this movie when I was 10 and the bear scene scared me so bad I had to get my dad to stand by my bed until I fell asleep for 2 weeks. So this is the sequel to the famous Jim Carrey's The Shining. lmfao. Scariest parts off the movie scenes: Plays Me: presses on it Advert. I actually thought the movie ending was very well done. A wonderful sight seeing that old hotel where it all started for Danny. I dislike overly harsh critics, I mean that ending was perfect. Super powered bad guy meets her end at the hands of an ever bigger bad. Perfect. Doctor sleep cast. Doktor senior. This was an excellent final showdown Rose not knowing the evil that lurks in this hotel and what it does to psychics Hell of a comeuppance.
